You think, “Where are they taking me?”
And then you step through the door into a new world…
..where the ever-present Majeed (Texx calls him “Magic”) anticipates your every need.
We relax with mint tea after 25 hours on the road and in the air
…and then discover our rooms. Bobbi and Colleen have a twin room with en suite Starry Night bathroom.
Our room is very much like home, with celadon green plaster walls, inlaid with handmade tiles, Berber carpets, a fireplace, rose petals strewn everywhere, an exquisite marble shower and twin ceiling fans:
We have a nice dinner – a chicken tagine with preserved lemons and a veggie tagine – and a glass of wine, perhaps more – to end the long day
We awaken to a perfect morning, birds chirping, sun shining and a delicious breakfast of eggs, breads, jams, honey, coffee and mint tea:
Then we head back to our rooms to prepare for our first day in Marrakech
Fabulous photos and great commentary!!!
What great pics so far!!! Good job Dick and Colleen, super memories! Thank you, can’t wait for more. xoxo
